| | | I don't remember, I just post, don't think I hit subscribe anything. These threads are older though with no recent post, like out of no where I just got like 20 emails from AG that says "new linkback to such and such thread"

| | | Same here occassionally. There will be a long list of them. They are usually duplicates of ones that I've gotten before that were "reply to...". These say "linkback" rather than reply to.....

| | | I'm in the same boat Surfer. When I reply to a thread I get instant email notifications from then on out. However, I have no idea what the linkbacks are all about. I just got a bunch of them as well and they were all very old threads.

| | | you can go to your user cp and go to the edit options and half way on the middle of the page you will see a subscribe to threads options you can set it to not subscribe.

| | | I want the notification emails, just don't know why I (& others) get the linkback emails. They aren't the same as the instant email notifications and the threads they send me to are typically quite old.
It's not a big deal at all, just more a curiosity as to what the linkbacks are and why I get them in bunches long after a thread is dead.
