08 Chevy Malibu - Talk about facelift !!

This sedan is BAD A$$. I've never liked Chevy sedans, but this things rocks! Bet it will be the new NASCAR Chevy Replica come next year.

Thoughts - Mean Looking and a great looking interior. LTZ equals one fly GRANNY in my book

Well I'll tell you what. It looks 500% better then previous model Malibus. And that is the truth!

That combined with the new Camaro and the "General" (GM) is going to have a good year.

The previous Malibu was the worst car I ever drove. HORRIBLE. Great step forward here, although the back-end is still awful.

It'll make a great rental!

The outgoing car was horrid in many ways. This at least *looks* a lot better. I'll have to wait on the drive.

Well I wouldn't call the Malibu bad A$$ (unless its the 60's model) but I agree it is way better looking than the previous model. Now lets wait and see how the fit and finish and overall quality will be like.

Finally looks better than your average rental car. Guess the last test is to see how it drives and the build quality.

I still prefer my Malibu from 1965 though

Its built on the same Opel platform as last years Saturn Aura. It does have some unique looks to differentiate it from the pack. Its rumored GM will also do an SS version with pumped up motor. As offered it is another reason why GM is clearly getting back in the game.

The best-selling car in Europe last year was the Opel Astra. I think Saturn is launching it this year in the US. Should be a great little car.

Personally, I'd change the badges on it. Take off the Saturn, slap on some Opel ones. No, not Vauxhall!
