Halogen Light / Flourecent Light (SEARS SALE)

so after going to the bank i decided to drop by the local sears and take a gander

i was in the market for a tripod light so i went to go see my options...they of course had the single tripod and the double tripod halogen lights

i was gonna get the double for 39.99 or somethin, but they had the individual ones on sale for 12 bucks...i picked up 1, the guy said its better to have 2 than 1 of the double tripods that way u can angle them around you so that ur not getting 100000000 degrees on the back of your neck..and these are also removable to be used as portable lights as well

and of course JOSEPH (KLUMZ) was interested in taht flourecent light ..so i had them take it out of the box and test it...i dont have any pics of the lights on, but it sucks...sucks liek crap...crap crap crap..so ya i didnt buy it...and i think its 40$ as well..

so heres what i got and tested today

go to sears for those looking for more tripod lights...on sale til saturday i believe

I saw those lights too, but instead of them i saw a set of double tripod halogen lights at loews that are detachable for 24.00 bucks. It was before i went to work on a saturday when they open and it was reg. price for 44.00 bucks. It was a one day special and they only had 2 there. So far i haven't got any problems with them yet......

I have the same halogens, only the double. I'm very happy with them so far, they work quite well. Of course I use the Brinkman Xenon as well, and have actually been using that more than the halogens.

Nice find there! I have the single one that sits on the ground. I use it for lighting up the garage, not so much for spotting swirls.

I have the double 500w light from sears, its nice, got it for 25$ I believe. I had to look through 5 boxes that they had there to find the least damaged one though. My light was fine when I got it home, except for one broken bulb, but sears took care of it on the next trip. I do wish it were a little taller so it could shine more straight down on some panels.
