At least you can move your arm. My brachial plexus nerve is entrapped between my scalene muscles. The signal from my brain to my right deltoids is nonexistent. Just barely getting the muscle to twitch and respond since this started last Tuesday.

Not to mention the crap that is affected by my locked up cervical spine from my tight scalenes.

Got a call today from a case rep with Si-Bone.com the makers of the iFuse system. Being as BCBS has denied ALL YEAR paying for one of my surgeries, I found out that they have a support team that'll help with the denial(s) as well as any appeals. With their new case studies and records their success rate is pretty good (once you get them involved that is).

Just wish I could get it done before the end of the year as it'd be free. Problem is... the surgeon that started the process left Resurgeons Group and opened his own practice, and NOW I have to get my records from them, although HE, was my doctor! Which... means I've got to go get yet another MRI!!!!!!

Strangely enough... I have Medicare as secondary insurance, and THEY will cover the surgery, IF they were my primary insurer. All these years of them paying only 20% (my co-pay on my other insurance) yet I can't get them to step up and pay for this when they would normally do it (were I not to have BCBS).
