Can you use it as a drying aid?

You can, but does not work as well as the Polymer spray when used as a drying aid. Better to use it on dry paint in my experience...

Can you use it as a drying aid?

I wouldn't.

But then I don't use products as drying aides because in my experience what they do is break the surface tension of the grip water has to the surface causing the water to run off the car and taking whatever product you sprayed onto the surface with it. This means dragging the product into cracks and crevices you cannot get into to remove.

About 10 years ago when I worked for Meguiar's Eagle One had a product called Wax-as-U-Dry and Meguiar's wanted to position their consumer spray wax in the same way. I tested it and upon spraying the product onto my freshly washed and rinsed black Honda Pilot I watched the water run off the car and take the wax with it and deposit it into all the lower cracks and crevices. I don't want wax or other ingredients stuck in places I cannot get it out of.

That's just me but it makes sense...

Instead... I simply dry the water off the car.

Better to use it on dry paint in my experience...

Dry clean paint.

Works great. Wipes off easy. Leaves paint feeling slick and looking clear and shiny.

I love this stuff. It's fast and easy to apply. Looks great and lasts a good amount of time.

After testing it I bought a gallon

I just put it on my Rogue a couple weekends ago after a wash.
