XMT 180 on my CBR600

Hey guys,

As promised, I did in fact wax my new toy with the new XMT180 wax.

Firsts thoughts were wow, awesome strong grape scent. I normally hate grape, but this was a nice scent similar to that of the XMT Glaze.

Opening the can, I first recognized that this is very similar to all of the other waxes. A 6oz plastic jar with some pure carnauba wax. Second, I noticed that my particular chunk of wax could not be removed from the container to apply by PC or for my Polishin' Pal. Instead I have shovel it out with the applicator. Nevertheless, nothing was difficult about it.

The aspect I liked most about this particular was that I could safely and EASILY apply it to the entire car before removal. This was definitely conveinant seeing as how I was working with a vehicle with little body panels. I was in direct sunlight and after the wax sat for 10+ minutes, it was still easy to remove.

Process:

Wash with S100 TBC
Wheels with Pinnacle Gel and EZ Detail Brush
Polish Chrome with Miracle Chrome via Powerball
Paint polish with Menzerna Wax and stripped with Pinn. Paint Cleansing Lotion (Menzerna from earlier review)
Dry via P21S chamois and finished with guzzler
XMT180 via gray polishin' pal

The pictures are as follows. I figured that distance ones would be nice for a change.

I guess this was more of a chance to show the bike off rather than review, hehe, my bad.

hey i got mine out of the container, i used a butter knife and cut around it. then laid a piece of saran wrap on the counter and pounded it upside down until it came out... then wrapped it in saran wrap and stuck it back inside. that way when i want it to smear on a pad.... i got it.
