Quick Review -- Scholl Concepts SW20 Speed Wax
Scholl Concepts SW20 Speed Wax
Cost: 17.99 for 500ml
I love spray waxes and quick detailer + type products. I know Nick recently tested the carnauba based spray from Scholl, so I decided to try this version.
As I spritz it on silver metallic paint I noticed a slightly pinkish color and believe the scent to be watermelon. I wiped each panel after a spritz or two and found no addtl slickness. It wiped off without any need for buffing and initially looked nice but not as notable as spray waxes with 'nuba in them.
We left for the afternoon and needed to stop back at home for a receipt. The car was sitting in the driveway with a glow and the metallic being very notable. My wife commented on the look and she suggested we take a couple pics upon getting done with errands. Unfortunately it has rained since and pics will no longer show the original outcome. The beading is well rounded and with med/large size beads. I will play with it over the next couple weeks but initially it seems like another nice product and certainly one that light colored metallic cars just might want to visit.

I am actually excited to use this product again this morning. It kept beading and beading with all the rain we had this past week, and still looked rather clean when the sun was out.

Ok .... I really like this product but find two things puzzling. One, it doesn't really add any slickness just gloss and beads extremely well. The other thing ...... everytime I use it within an hour it rains, and rains, and rains !!!!

What's the difference between this and their other spray wax, SW40 Carnauba Spray Wax?

Does this product leave that white residue on black plastic trim.

Upside down--sorry
Recently received a sample of Scholls SW20. Decided to try it on wife's black Volvo XC60. Wow! Nice look. Not slick. Very interesting. I will watch for longevity and behavior in weather.
The image (if visible) is just after application (not cured). I had planned to do total correction on this car next month. I may have bought a little time.

It's summer on SoFlo,rain is a daily occurrence. I'll be impressed if you find something that keeps it from raining. Not to mention it would be an instant best seller.
I received a bottle recently as well, haven't had a chance to try it yet. Still raining here. Anxious to try it though.
