Detailer's Paint Coating will provide up to two years of paint protection - and that's being conservative.

Of course the key to success with Detailer's Paint Coating, or any paint coating for that matter, is to properly prep the surface. By introducing a polish that's wax, oil, silicone and filler free - Detailer's Coating Prep Polish - we've eliminated some of the apprehension with applying a paint coating. If you use Detailer's Coating Prep Polish before applying any paint coating (including Opti-Coat 2.0), you don't have to perform an IPA wipedown or use other volatile paint strippers. Wash, clay, polish and coat - it's that simple.

Detailer's Glass Coating and Detailer's Wheel Coating will last up to one year but again, that's being conservative.

Anyone at AG test the glass coating on the rear window of a hatchback or SUV during your test phase? I'm curious if it will help reduce the dust that inevitably builds up there due to the aerodynamics and near vertical position of the window. The glass sealants I've tried all helped a bit but mostly helped make cleaning easier. I'd like something that won't let as much dust stick in the first place.

When you say 2 years for the paint coating and 1 year for the wheel and glass coating, does that mean the beading will last that long as well? Is beading going to be the indicator that the coating is still there?

Hold on a minnit there, Nick...so what is the "feel" of this product on the paint? I'm presuming it's not slick. So you are saying that you can top it with a traditional LSP to provide that slickness, and get a normal longevity out of that LSP? (as opposed to something like Opti-Coat, which reduces the longevity of toppers)

Dust attraction with Detailer's Glass Coating is virtually non-existent. Treated glass surfaces will only require water to clean.

Beading and sheeting does indicate that the coating is still there.

It was formulated so waxes and sealants will bond to it without any issues.

I still can't believe that each coating is in a 4oz container. Opti coat at 20cc can be used for about 3-5 vehicles depending on the size. Assimg that application methodology is the same as opticoat, these new DP coatings will last much longer than that!!!

A 4 oz. bottle of Detailer's Paint Coating will yield between 10 and 15 applications.
