POLL : Will No Wipe Sealants Change Detailing Forever ??

As noted, several new paint sealants (synthetic waxes) are due to hit the market, will these change the way you will personally detail going forward ?? Will you be trying these quickly, or allowing them some time to play if just hype more than fact ???

I am not even sure the general public knows what is due to come! Except when you guys warn us you are putting out a new product. I am jazzed about the 360.

I was and still am a Carnauba Wax fan. I don't see myself changing any time soon. Don't get me wrong the new 360 sounds very good but I just like the look of a Good Carnauba Wax. I use Souveran Paste on my New Black Azera and PB's Natty's Blue on my daily driver Black Ford Ranger.

That I must agree with!
But it is good to try new things - can't you put wax over the 360?

Time will tell... I don't mind wiping off sealants. With technology these days removal of wax and sealants is a breeze. I am holding out to try the Opti-seal and that is when I'll know if the hype lives up to the facts. It's a little difficult to get the truth behind new products when not a lot of people have tried it.....

Will a no-wipe sealant change detailing? IMO no.. it just saves me 5 minutes from buffing off the product. It will make it easier, but IMO not changing the way we detail..

Will I try it? Sure.. but I don't think it's a "revolutionary" product..

IMO XMT 360 (and similar) have revoltionized detailing..slowly but surely... a nice AIO product like that will have a greater impact on detailing than a "no wipe" sealant..

Just my opinion..

Try it i will, but to manage to keep the mf away from the car after, is going to be hard...

Personaly i like to "slide" a mf over the hood after the detail to feel the slicknes...

Z-CS is a self curing optically clear sealer and is in my opinion; one of the most innovative products and a watershed moment in automotive detailing products;

Wipe on, walk away (durability thus far 6-months) I'm going to have to find a new hobby or write more books
