Question Duragloss Pink Buffing Gel? New?

So, I was searching around the web for Duragloss products when I came across the website for Excel Detail. They have a product called Duragloss Pink Buffing Gel.

Anyhooch, it says it's a new product, not yet released and only they have it for sale right now. Any info on this new product would be greatly appreciated, as I am a big fan of the Duragloss product line.

Thanks,

tripya

DG did mention a while back that they were entering the enthusiast arena. Looks like this might be a solid entry!

Give that man a prize , and the newbie a link warning

consider contacting Meghan if a specific product is wanted from our established lines, as you will see on the "new items" page we continue to enhance and add to the Duragloss line.

No..I have no experience with it...I seen it on his site last summer when He announced he was selling DG stuff...when I called DG and asked about it they sorta avoided the topic...just said something worked on..but the price killed me..8.99 for 8 oz's....maybe for 16 not 8oz's...

I have not seen 1 report of any one using it...so I did not grab any...I need to see many positive results first...plus if it was a to go product they would have it on the DG site...

It is supposedly a gel type buffing compound..

There is company in Italy that just came out with a simular type product...A gel polishing product..it was shown at the big Show in Germany this year...When I was ordering Menzerna from Ireland I was told about it...it is suppose to be some nice stuff....we will never see it...it is made by the company that makes paint for the Italian cars...

Sorry and Thanks

My apologies for the link blunder. My bad . Just curious about the product. I find it odd that there is nothing on the DG site about it, though. (Although their site is pretty thin and doesn't seem to get a lot of updating). One would think they would be excited about a new product in this category. Really, they don't have a product that addresses this step in the process (at least not one that I am aware of). I imagine they plan to announce it with a corresponding marketing push of some sort?

On a side note, I am curious what the number will be that is attached to the product (i.e. 101, 105, ect...) Obviously, I have no idea of the product numbering logic, but I would think it might correspond to the number of formulas it takes to get it right. Like with WD40.

Perhaps it took them 666 times to get it right and they feel like they have "bad product joojoo"??? I am kidding.

Thanks for the replies and again sorry for my ignorance regarding the whole competitor link thing.

Peace,

tripya

Welcome to AGO, you will love here. Like you said DG needs to really update their web site. Thanks to the people on this site I started using Duragloss. I'm very please with most of their products.
