Spray bottles

I've noticed mixed reviews regarding Spraymaster spray bottles and am thinking twice about purchasing them. What alternatives are recommended?

Re: Spray bottles

Dear Shakabruddah

Try the Kwazar spray bottles. I have some and they're the best I've ever used.

Hallelujah! Kwazar's are SO damn good it's ridiculous. Their spray patterns are top knotch, and can perfectly atomize the spray if you want to; it's something I've never seen in a trigger spray.

The dual-action mechanism is superb, although unnecessary at times. Personally, because of how expensive they are, I only have 3; 1 for waterless wash, 1 for QD, and the other for chemical guy hybrid v7 (QD/sealant hybrid). Spray waxes, glass cleaners, etc. are unnecessary as you only generally need to spray like, 2-3 sprays per panel anyways.

32 oz. Spray Bottle-F80HD24 at The Home Depot

I really like these. Yea, they're from home depot, but the spray is just fine for what I use (not a VERY fine mist, but certainly a mist). Best part is that if you drop it, it was only a dollar.

Re: Spray bottles

I've used
32 oz. Heavy Duty PVC Clear Spray Bottle, storage bottle, chemical sprayer
and
36 Ounce Detail Bottle
and
32 oz. Spray Bottle-F80HD24 at The Home Depot

They all work pretty well. The PVC one is nice because it doesn't take a ton of room to store. I like the "36 ounce detail bottle" because it has measurements already on the bottle but they have a much bigger footprint where ever you store them.

Re: Spray bottles

i get my bottles from a local detailing supply truck, a company called Clean Chem in southwest NJ. they end up being a couple bucks per bottle w/ sprayer.

they are very very durable and the sprayers are FANTASTIC. and...something that can be very important - they are chemical resistant. a lot of the volume detailers use varying dilutions of acids and stuff and these sprayers hold up to that. they are Tolco sprayers.

i'd imagine if you went to a local high volume detailer and asked if you can stop over next time their supply truck comes by you can probably buy bottles and sprayers from the truck.

Re: Spray bottles

I hate the HD bottles, they are complete junk. You get about 7 pumps if you are pumping real fast and then the sprayer goes out. You then have to wait a minute or two till you can use it again. I just bought the spraymaster bottle last week and so far so good. I put acid cleaner in it to test. One thing is, they spray a lot out and use more product.(You just don't have to spray as much.
