REVIEW: EDGE Scrubber Daddy

If you’re like me your hands tend to get a little dirty even w/ the use of latex gloves while detailing. During the winter months, my hands even get really dry and cracked from different chemicals and climate. My hands especially get dirty and oily when using some of the different tire and trim dressings. Combine this oily mess with the cracked skin on my fingers, you get stained fingers that are tough to get clean even w/ the best of cleaners.




Well after attending the recent Detail Fest, I was fortunate to meeting Aaron and John from Dedication to Detail, the founding company of Edge pads and the Shmitt. I noticed a different looking pad on the display table w/ two small holes in the middle and a jagged edge on one end. I asked John what it was and he explained to me that it was one of their latest projects called the Scrubber Daddy. It’s specifically made for people like us and mechanics or anybody w/ dirty hands. This new product makes cleaning you hands extremely easy. All you have to do is put two fingers in the Scrubber Daddy and add some soap and water and begin scrubbing.







The end results are clean hands w/ no trace of oil, dirty, etc. anywhere to be found. It’s amazing how the guys from Edge we’re able to come up such a simple device that works so well.

Very nice!!!. How stiff are the bristles?? I use a nail scrub brush to scrub carpets and floor mats to loosen up debris and junk for vacuuming. That thing could be useful for me if the bristles aren't too stiff.

The bristles are very comfortable. I didn't think they would clean very good since it felt so soft on my fingers, but it worked great.

That's cool. Kind of on the same note, if no one has heard of the soap called "Gojo", it works absolute wonders! My gf got me a tub and it's one of the best items I have. It's like a polish for your hands, you can feel the abbrasives in it.

the scrubber daddy shocked me as well. it can also be used to scrub bugs off of cars. IIRC its an open celled foam, and it really does work well. you can stick each finger in the hole and twist it around to clean the finger, or just scrub like normal, or use the ridges to clean out your fingernails.
