New Product time!

Well we all know the DP line is a favorite with Detailers... so we are always looking to improve it and make some very user friendly products.
So here we go - DP Engine Degreaser... this stuff is awesome. We used it today and it did its job well!
Was very easy, sprayed the area with water, sprayed the degreaser, let sit for a couple of mins and then hit it with the brush. Dirt came right off (and she had a lot to come off!) .

First thing I noticed, there was no strong chemical smell. That is a bonus for me, everytime I find a good grease cutting product it kills my lungs. DP Engine Degreaser is nontoxic, VOC free, and biodegradable!

Great thing is... Max is throwing in a Meguiars Brush (retail 9.99) for free with this degreaser for a limited time.

Question

And this is ok for the engine whereas pressure washing is not, right? Do you rinse it off and is that ok to do?

lauren i would personally always recommend a pressure washer for engine cleaning as long as you stay away from the vital parts.im definately going to try this degreaser out

Lauren, I have to disagree with Kelso. Using a pressure washer to clean an engine bay is serious overkill nine times out of ten. Your car is really new and I highly doubt you would need anything stronger than a garden hose. Just be sure you cover up any water sensitive components.

water placed into certain places, electrical and intake, can cause more harm then good. I highly suggest monthly cleaning on new cars by hand with towel and some qd. You should never need to high pressure.

I will say the DP Exterior Cleaner worked well on past cars under the hood, so I wonder how this works as well ??
