Review: Cobra Guzzler

AGers,

I recently purchased the Cobra Guzzler Combo Kit. For the past few years I was exclusively using the Absorber. But it started letting me down. For one, you would always have to wash the thing about 10x times before you truly "worked it in" to where it would really soak up the water and it would always streak the finish. There must be something else out there!

So I read about the Guzzler a lot, but was sceptical on how something that looked like a regular MF with pockets could be all that great.

Well, was I wrong.

The Guzzler is CHOICE!!! I bought the Combo Kit (http://www.autogeek.net/guzzler-microfiber-combo.html) and dried my entire truck with the 16"x24" towel. Yes, this is a full-size Dodge! I couldn't believe it.

Not need to go over anything twice and streak-free! Even though the towel was (very) damp after drying the truck, it did the job PERFECTLY!

Next time, I'll dry with the 20"x40" for even better results.

Let's face it: if you're drying with anything else, you're wasting time.

A 10 out of 10!!!

I love the guzzlers, I won't dry with anything else. LOL ryan, a guzzler is more important than a made up holiday!

Thank you for the review, I have two 16x24 and I haven't used them just yet. Sounds like you did your homework on the Guzzler.

Is your Guzzler brand new? Why would it do this? Does it need to be washed a few times?

Washed my SUV yesterday. The top turns into a lake when washed (Drain channels). Didn't have to stop once for a wring-out. Thank you "Guzzler".

You may want to use some mf specific wash and that should do the job. R u using it to qd too? If so that could cause it to clog up. I either use the mf specific wash or woolite to wash and add a cup of white vinegar during rinse to remove wax residue that could be clogging the pores.
