| 3M's Discontinuation & Upgrade ?
This is a spin off from another thread that lead into a discussion about 3M. 3M will be “upgrading their line of -Perfect It- products while discontinuing another one which is my favorite. I’ve been using the 1qts pt num 06060 Extra Cut 1200 Grit Compound, 06064 Swirl Mark Remover & 06068 Ultra Fina SE with great success on my Black car. I was told that the VOC was involved in the discontinuation of the 06060 Compound due to some polutition/epa, etc... etc.. I’m not sure what the difference will be, but I raced out and got one of the last 1 gallon bottles of the Extra Cut 1200 Grit Compound from my local Napa Paint Store. My Napa Guy did mention that they zero’d his previous order of the 06060(1qt) & 06061(1gal.) of the 1200grit extra cut compound, so….. I guess its official, if you are a fan of the 06060/06061... I recommend you go get before it's gone.
