Optimum Instant Detailer

Has anyone tried it? Is it as good or better than PBS&W or FK425? Thanks.

Re: Optimum Instant Detailer

I have tried it and it is a very nice QD. Very slick and no streaking. I find it to be just as good as FK 425. I wouldn't compare it to Spray and Wipe since SW tends to have better cleaning ability. OID is a very nice compliment to ONR.

Re: Optimum Instant Detailer

S&W is the waterless wash, so it doesn't really compare to that. I've only used the OID one time and so far so good. It didn't streak which was really surprising since it was cold in the garage. It didn't quite have the slickness that I thought it would but overall it's a nice product. Maybe slickness will increase in the warmer months or after its been in the sun for awhile or something. I have used FK425 along with Spray and Gloss and all are nice, but I think these two are more apt to streaking if you use too much product. I'm not a huge fan of QDs so you should probably wait for someone else to chime in.

Re: Optimum Instant Detailer

I am waiting for the hype to die down a bit .... then we will place it against Fk425 and Quickshine as too "very good" quick detailers. Megs 135 aint bad either, but can streak if over applied.

What about the SCG duo?
