I did not have new Edge adapter in hands (I assume you are referring to what they call Edge 3000 Industrial Adapter) but from little I have seen I am impressed. Definitely great "out of the box" thinking.

Yes it is a very nice adapter !!! Nice upgrade from the old design .Which I never had a problem with.
