Anyone tried the cross groove pads yet?

I am actually going to break down and do a full detail for a family member SUV the end of this week... little oxidation....car washes for the past five years of the vehicles life.
Thinking of using the cross groove, I have had some practice with them, but haven't had a bad vehicle to really test them out on. Just seeing if anyone has yet...looking for a little feedback.

Re: Anyone tried the cross groove pads yet?

I purchased some but I have not had a chance to try them out yet. I'm going to try them on my Viper as soon as I get a chance. The car has lots of curves so hopefully they will work good.

These pads are awesome... conform to curves very well!!! same cut as LC pads... do wish the had 5.5" though... my favorite size!!!!

Re: Anyone tried the cross groove pads yet?

I, like Gary above, has bought a few of the cross groove pads but have not had a chance to use them because of the weather in NJ. Look foward to your thoughts on how you liked them.

Re: Anyone tried the cross groove pads yet?

Anybody experienced dried up polish getting trapped in the bottom of the grooves?
