btw, how much is it to get your module tuned in properly? Fo rmy bike, luckily one of the best places in the Midwest happens ot be less than an hour away. I think they quoted me $220-$250 to completely custom program (map) it.
Where at in the midwest??

Nah, I wasn't asking anything, just said it's an interesting choice. I've ridden a number of bikes with them and they can be fun. That said, with respect to the comment I made is simply that for a bike (ultimate cruiser) that I'm going to put a thousand miles on in a couple of days travel they wouldn't be my first choice. A boulevard runner or a blast up the canyon and back is another story. The heart doesn't like to pump up hill and over long periods of time your arms get tired (my fingers would get numb). It's not simply a matter of conditioning biceps or triceps, it's a matter of supply and demand. That was the only thing I was thinking.

I understand what you're saying. I ride as much as anyone (long distance) that holds down a job. I've been all over the USA and parts of Canada also to Nova Scotia. Ape hangers are really not all that uncomfortable, but they are not for everyone. HB
