New from CA

Hi all, Im new, of course, and am looking into getting into detailing my car. I drive a black 97 honda accord 2dr that could do with some real loving. I've learned alot since joing about the PC and UDM, but I havent figured which Ill get yet. The car has is practically covered in spiderwebs and has a area between the back fo teh driver's side door frame and teh rear glass that is really badly scratched. Im actually in Georgia at the moment, but the car is in teh garage and is not driven back in Cali. Ok thanks, later all.

You can't go wrong with either PC or UDM. If you look around on google, u can find the PC pretty cheap! I have the UDM and I love it. If you're thinking of using Edge pads, go with the PC, because the UDM current model can't handle the Edge pads and it requires a 50 dollar upgrade to use it (pretty sad), but I use Lake Country CCS pads so I'm good. I have XMT polishes 1 and 3, and they have done a great deal of correcting. For the Lake Country pads, I use the orange and white pad, orange being the most aggressive, and white being the polishing pad for the final step. I also have a Blue pad, but I use it with a chemical cleaner, such as P21S paintwork cleanser and Wolfgang paintwork polish enhancer. It can also be used for waxing. If you can post pictures sometime, you'll be able to get lots of help. Welcome to AG!!
