| | | Best Wax Hello to all
Sorry for the typical newbe question but I have to ask.
If money were no option, which wax or system would you recommend? I have a C6 Black Corvette with only 4000 miles and the paint is in excelant condition. The previous owner kept the car inside and used P21S. I am not sure what wax to use. It's been a while since I detailed my cars and there are a lot of new products on the market. I am thinking about the pinnacale Souveran, Zymol Carbon, Mothers California Gold, and P21S. Any thoughts on the best wax. |

| | | Plenty of nice choices .... DP Max Wax, Nattys Red, and XMT180 wont break the bank. For a little more step up to Pinnacles line with SSII or go for the best no holes barred offering of Souveran Paste.
All are final stage waxes however, and you must properly prep the finish first or unlikely to notice the small nuiances in each offering above. |

I saw your step by step detailing posted earlier. Very good stuff. Do you think I should get the Souveran detail kit with Shampoo, Paintworks Cleaning Lotion, Crystal Mist spray wax (for quickies) and the souveran wax? I'm using the two bucket method and I am also thinking about getting the foam gun. |

| | | there are lots ofgreat waxes. It all comes down to waht you want. Forexample many people love sovergn. i however dont. Its just not a wax I like (and yes i have used it more then a few times) i personaly preffer to use waxes such as victoria wax and the higher end zymols. Its just what I like.
I have never used p21s but i know there are people who swear by it. They think its the greatest wax to hit the shevles. If I were you (and this is just my opion)I would start with somthing a little less expensive then sov. Perhaps sigII or p21s (wel s100). Max wax would also be a great choice... this is just my opion |
