Just want to introduce myself. Name is Joel and I've been practicing detailing for a few months and joined to learn new technique's and improve on what i already know.

Right now i don't have a garage to work out of I so I'm using a car port canopy. During the day it's really hard to see the swirls marks, What do people recommend to use to see the swirls? My Lancer Evo is wicked white so it's hard as is to see marks during the day even at angles.

Welcome 4G63, I love that engine lol. I have it in my Galant GS but it's no turbo and it's slow mo. I'm not sure what lights go best with white, hopefully someone will chime in. I see most people using halogen lights at least 500 watt, and it's on those stands. What products do you have in your arsenal?

right now i'm using adam's polishes products w/ edge double side pads and a porta cable 7336.
  • Brilliant Spray Glaze
  • swirl & haze remover
  • Revive Polish
  • Buttery Wax
  • Vinyl, Rubber, & Tire Dressing
  • Leather Conditioner
  • In & Out Spray
Bought it as a kit from his website, but decided to try to XMT products to tackle my car and others. I just picked up XMT 1, 4, and glaze along with the pinnacle pad cleaning combo. Just bought a new set of double sided edge pads. I'm reading up throughout the forum to see what's good and what people recommend.
