Hi,

Just joined the community. I am a bit confused by all the product possibilties for restoring the shine on an older car that hadn't really been cleaned often, if at all.

I do intend to buy the Porter-Cable Rotary Polisher (or should I?), but I am not sure whether to use foams (which ones) or wool (I saw a thread on this, but don't really know if wool is appropriate for restoring dull paint back to life).

Also, what pastes, brands or types do I need.

You don't have to provide long answers. Links or directions to certain sections on autogeek.com as a starting point would be appreciated.

Welcome Szara I don't use a PC, so can't help you out. However, have you been to the Autogeek store and seen the video at the bottom of the product screen? That's about all the help I can offer. Someone will be along to help you soon!
