New guy from Texas..

Hello all,

I first want to say that I spent all day yesterday trolling the site and was extremely impressed with the wealth of information I found. I have already selected a few processes to put into action when my purchase arrives.

I am no stranger to detail work but this will however be my first time implementing the different pads available for the PC. I look forward to learning even more than I know now.

I own a 1999 Z28 Camaro and can't wait to revitalize the 11
year old paint.

That is a sweet looking Z28 Camaro...

What year Camaro did the Z28 badge in your grill come off of?

Nice touch...

Re: New guy from Texas..

Thanks for the compliment mike, that badge is actually the rear tail panel badge off a 1969 Z28

It's funny that you posted that link as I just watched the video you did yesterday! I also read your entire write up on restoring single stage paints(extremely impressed!) my family owns a ranch in south central Texas and we have a total of 15 John Deere tractors ranging in years from 1968-2003, and as you know 99% of those are done with a single stage system, and of course the years have taken their tolls. I already ordered some #7 glaze to experiment with....and don't worry there will be pics because after all that's the best part

Cool.

Remember, terry cloth because you want the large nap... and elbow grease... you're on your own with that one...

Love the classic emblem in the modern grilll, can't beleive more car guys don't do that with their modern Camaro's, it's a good fit...

I'll be in San Antonio in a few weeks for a video shoot with Operatoin Comfort and also a GTG at Anthony Orosco's shop.

Getting ready to post a thread about it right now...
