Hey Everyone


So I'm new to the whole detailing thing and new to the whole owning a car thing actually. Just got my first car a month ago and I'd like to take care of it right! I've been poking around here the last month or so, trying to get a grasp on all of the wonderful information here. I've learned a lot and have a long ways to go. Going to order some stuff this weekend and hopefully give it try during one of the coming weekends; I'm eager to start! If anyone has any tips for the novice detailer, they'd be greatly appreciated!

Welcome MClark. Lots of info to be had on this forum and it will keep you reading for a long time. Autogeek offers several kits with a lot of the items you would want to start detailing with and if you would like to start with machine polishing the Porter Cable kit may be just what you need. Take a look at it in the store and get ready to become addicted.

Thanks for the advice! I've got that on my list as well as some various pinnacle kits (complete interior/exterior, wheels, etc.) they should be a good start. I can sense the addiction beginging
