Thanks sal329. Hope to make the chart bigger in time to see the various combination of products are used in the cleaning and waxing process. I have started with yours in an excel spread sheet and hope to be able to upload this for all to see as it developes.

Re: Chart The Sequence

glaze before sealant......thought it was the other way around as the glaze would hinder the sealant to cure on the paint.

Danase Wet Galze is a acrylic polymer glaze, unlike most traditional oily glazes. It cures its self to allow a sealant to bond on top of it.

I prefer Danase Wet Glaze over the sealant, but you can put it under it also. I have had good luck with both.

You don't want to use other glazes under sealants, however, as it will reduce their life.

Re: Chart The Sequence

A glaze is used to bring out the paint even more. So why would you use it on top of a sealant? I know DWG can be used either before or after a sealant. RMG, Prima Amigo, PB Black hole, ## Ez Creme are all used before a sealant or wax. A few glazes also have cleaners and fillers in them so they would need to be applied before a sealant.

Re: Chart The Sequence

I'm going to ask a similarly newb question. I use the following products and am not sure if I'm using them correctly.
1) Wash/Dry - pretty easy first step
2) Pinnacle Clay
3) XMT series #4, #3, #1 - based on scratches, swirls, etc.
4) XMT Finishing Glaze
5) Blitz Carnauba wax - got this product as a recommendation

I also have 3M IHG, but have only used it once after washing, then finished with the Blitz. Last item is XMT360 that I used once and followed with Blitz.

Am I doing this right or am I screwing something up? Also, are there other products that I need to or should be using?

***And, sorry Jstar...not trying to hijack your post, but an Excel spreadsheet would work wonders for me. My head spins with all of the recommendations****
