Menzerna Polishing Compounds of Germany has set new standards for workability, uniformity, performance, and quality. Why else would Mercedes Benz use Menzerna polishes to perfect the finishes on their brand new vehicles?

Thumbs up Newbie from Maryland

Hi everyone!

I'm new here and trying to learn as much as I can. I just acquired a very nice Cobra and want to keep it all nice and clean.

I need help / recommendations for car wash products to wax/polish, etc. The car is rio red is that makes any difference?

Thanks in advance!

-Tim

Re: Newbie from Maryland

Welcome. Man, this is a wide open question. Tons of nice products at various price points. Search feature is your friend. Several buckets to fill.

Washing/Drying: Research the topic but any good car wash such as DP is good. Look for 2 Bucket Method instructions. Drying/washing/removing wax is Microfiber all the way for me. Guzzlers excellent. Many use leaf or other blowers to dry.

Polishing: Requires polishing machine and polishes themselves. Flex/Menz my fav and many like PC/Menz and various other polishes. Again research for results on your type car finish. Price point is again very important in this category.

Waxes: Price no object Souveran or Fuzion. Again research. Others available that are very good at lower price point.

Tire: Depends on finish you like.

Search the various categories and come back with some specific product questions and I'm sure you will get many more responses.

Good luck, sounds like you picked up a killer car!

Dumb question. Is PS Souveran a brand name or an actual product?

Wow thank you very much that's exactly the type of information that I'm looking for. I don't mind doing research but I'd like to cut through the bias and just purchase some products to get started. A picture of my car is above and I'd like to get a better understanding of how to maintain it.

Thanks.
Tim
