Greetings from Maryland! looking into serious detailing

I was introduced to this site by a friend of mine a while back. I have been a hand detailing guy for quite some time. However, after watching the results from orbital polishing on my car I was immediately sold. Now I'm looking into getting a Porter Cable set for myself. So far I like the Wolfgang PC7424 detailing set for swirl removal. However, I am still looking and researching on other kits for the best bang for the buck. I'm looking to take care of both of my cars, 1999 Mercury Cougar and a 2005 Toyota Corolla (Daily Driver) as well as help some of my friends with their cars.

Here's some pics of my toy that I've owned for almost 10 years!

I'm looking to try to shine up some of the original panels to match the more freshly painted ones.

nice ride .... if you decide to stay with hand cleaning then look to the Pinnacle Sig Series Kit for best look. If you move to machine, and I suggest you do then consider the PC, with smaller pads, and Menzerna polishes. Youll love the results of either. Welcome ! !

Thank you for your feedback. However, why Menzerna over say Wolfgang?

Is there any thread that shows the difference between wolfgang and menzerna polishers?

I haven't used one myself either LOL! I still haven't ordered it yet. However, I do have some detailing videos if you're interested. That should help to understand how to use it correctly. Did you get an included video in your kit?

Both kits I ordered should be here Sept 4th. I already have PC7424 and multiple pads but am waiting on the kits

I have my little hooptie that I'm going to practice with before messing with the cobra
