Paint Overspray

Hello:

I am a new member and very excited about this forum. I have a 2005 Mazda RX-8. Somehow it got pinpoint paint overspray all over the hood and right side of the car.

I have tried numerous products, clay bars, compound, etc., but the overspray will not come off.

I am looking for suggestions. The only one I have not tried is using a hand held steamer. Any thoughts on this. All help is most appreciated.

Thank you,

Robert

Re: Paint Overspray

Have you tried a real agressive clay?

Meguiars Professional Detailing Clay Aggressive

"Meguiars Professional Detailing Clay removes what washing leaves behind: tree sap, paint overspray, industrial fallout, hard water deposits, diesel fuel exhausts, rubber, and insects."

And, to AGO.

Re: Paint Overspray

I asked this same question on this board......you guyz r great.....the yellow clay I first used worked......but it wuz like trying to drive a railroad spike wid a takhammer.......

So I got me some of dat purple stuff.......

Used the ClayKY for lube......and it peeled if off as ez as pie......

try a more aggressive clay.
