Another newb!!

Another newbie here from SC, I've always loved detailing cars but all I've never used any professional products. I have a mineral gray mustang GT that's in pretty good shape but I want to make it look even better. I'm looking at buying a whole kit with the PC but have no clue which one to get or what else to buy to go with it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

02GrayGT, sorry I can't help on the PC selection. There are many others that will be along soon to help you out.

I'm looking at going with either the XMT light swirl remover kit or the menzerna ultimate shine kit, from what I've read the menzerna stuff is supposed to be the best. I would just have to get a sealer and a wax to go with it and I'm not sure what to use.

I just used XMT360 for the first time. If you want one product to care for your car that is the one. Top it with Klasse Sealant, then after that cures with Meguairs #26 carnuba... I think you will be happy. someone correct me if I am wrong.

Welcome from a fellow SCer Menzerna is a top notch company with some of the best polishes. I recently recieved my order for Menzerna SIP & 106ff and can't wait to use them. Those 2 are said to be a winning combo. You can use a sealant and wax combo or either one by them selves. For mineral grey (I believe it has silver flakes) DP MaxWax would look great. If your also interested in using a sealant Wolfgangs Deep Gloss Sealant is very easy to use and looks great (my mustang is getting WG DGS on it now for the fall).

This one is highly regarded on here because it contains almost everything that you need to start.

I'm going to go with the poorboys kit but it doesn't come with a sealer. Do I need one of will the wax be enough? If I do need one, what should I go with?
