Re: Show Car Garage Video: How-To do a "Section Pass" when Machine Polishing with a DA Polisher
Awesome info here for sure! I recently did my First Single Stage White , it was an severely oxidized 04 Corolla , I posted it in show&shine .
It really taught me allot and helped my technique improve , specifically my section passes ,previously I've done all Black cars , which both my DD'er and summer car are Black. I don't see how you would not end up with a real uneven mess without section passes ,consistent ones that is . Thanks for such Great , practical info time and time again Mike . Really , thank you .

No problemo Daren.
I wrote the definition for the term section pass and section passes years ago because no one else had and out of sure need.
It's one thing to teach someone how to do a section pass in person or with a video it's an entirely other thing to do it with a keyboard.
Until I came to Autogeek it was always with a keyboard. Then working with Yancy way back in 2009 we made this first of many AG videos.

Ever so grateful for the generous amount of info you share Mike!
I'm a sucker for definitions!
Are you aware of the buffing cycle for Scholl Concepts S20 Black?

No matter what type or brand of polisher you use, it's important to understand the concept of making "section passes" when doing paint correction.
