    trying to upload photos to a tread

    the crazy thing I uploaded photos before...keeps on saying invalid file

    Get yourself the tapatalk app. It is easy to upload photos that way.

    Using the site directly sucks, Tapatalk is the way to go.

    here goes...I have installed Tapatalk....what happens when I choose a file to open and got to pictures...I click on a photo to upload....the file is a helic instead of an I get a notice helic file is invalid...at times its a bummer getting old...hope I am making sense

    No idea what you’re talking about...

    Ok, you’re on your smartphone.. Click the icon on the far left, choose a picture from your camera roll/gallery then it’ll ask you what size you want it to post. Choose the size [small, med, large] it adds it to your post. Done.

    HEIC means High Efficiency Image Compression, a new thing on iPhones. That causes issues with many apps, I changed my default back to JPEG even though the files end up larger and consume more space on the phone. Also had issues simply emailing pics to those without Apple devices.

    You can disable HEIC from settings > camera > formats (Only pictures taken after this change will get the old format again).

    Thanks so much BSoares....I did go into settings this morning and and disabled HELIC ....have no idea how it switch over....will take new pictures when I wash the car again...Thanks again
