Chrome Scratches,Swrils

Hey All,

Im new to Detailing,I have learnt Many things related to Auto Detailing But What i wonder at present is "How do i remove Imperfection on Chrome like Scratches, swirls...

Like the Small reference Image below

Are you sure that's chrome? What is it/is it on? It appears to be welded/polished aluminum

i agree with forrest, with how scratched up portions of that peice is if it was chrome i would think it would have broke through to the copper layer already.also, alumium is softer then chrome so it is way easier to swirl, if it was chrome i don't think it would be that swirled up. so it does seem like its aluminum, if any thing use some alumium safe cleaner, make sure its clean, take some all metal polish or some light paint polish put it on an applicator and rub it against the finish, if its black it most likely is aluminum and not chrome. once you figure out what it is reply back so then we can further help you
