Pro Blend Bottle Proportioners - Accurately Measure Concentrates

Pro Blend Bottle Proportioners - Accurately Measure Concentrates

If you purchase your detailing supplies in bulk concentrates, then here's very handy tool to have around, it's called the Pro Blend Bottle Proportioner.

Order the Pro Blend Bottle Proportioners on Autogeek.net

Assembly
The Pro Blend Bottle Proportioners come sealed in plastic bags to keep them clean and free from contaminants, so the first thing to do is to remove each Proportioner from it's plastic bag.

Next you'll want to trial-fit the Proportioner to the specific product bottle or jug you'll be pairing to the Proportioner. The Pro Blend Bottle Proportioners come with Universal Fit Suction Tube which you'll need to measure and cut to fit your specific application.

Place the suction tube into the bottle until it bottoms out and then measure or guesstimate the amount of tube you'll need to cut so that the Pro Blend Bottle Proportioner can be attached to the bottle without placing any bind on the attaching lid.

Error on the side of caution when making your cut because if after you cut the tube it's still just a little too long you can always trim it to fit.

After making your final cut, place the suction tube into the bottle.

Next, tighten the attaching lid to the threads on the opening of the bottle or jug. Tighten till firm but don't over-tighten and be sure not to cross-thread the lid onto the bottle.

Your Pro Blend Bottle Proportion is ready for use!

How to use the Pro Blend Bottle Proportioner
To measure an accurate volume of product you turn the large black plastic cap on the top of the reservoir either clockwise or counterclockwise to raise or lower the internal regulator to the desired amount. Then squeeze the bottle to inject the reservoir with product until the product covers over the top of the regulator. Remove the small black plastic cap and the concentrate can now be poured into your secondary container.

The Pro Blend Bottle Proportioner has a see-through reservoir which makes it easy to see the fill level.

Each Pro Blend Bottle Proportioner comes with an adjustable internal regulator.

Simply twist the top lid while holding the reservoir firmly to raise or lower the regulator to the preferred volume desired. The scale reads in both ounces and milliliters.

Next squeeze the side of the bottle or jug to fill the reservoir to the desired fill level.

As you squeeze you'll see the concentrate spill over the top of the regulator to fill the reservoir.

After filling lift off the small plastic cap off the spout.

You're ready to pour off into your secondary bottle!

Easy pour, no spill flip-top spout

The Pro Blend Bottle Proportioner makes measuring the correct amount fast, easy and most important... accurate.

Plus there's no messy measuring cup, which has to be rinsed and stored in a clean place to prevent contamination. The small plastic cap on the top of the Pro Blend Bottle Proportion keeps the inside of the unit contamination-free

Here's a 32 ounce spray bottle of DP Rinseless Wash & Gloss read to go!

Re: Pro Blend Bottle Proportioners - Accurately Measure Concentrates

Hi, i just bought one of these to go along with my Optimum no rinse in the 128 ounce size. I got the matching pro blend to go along with it. What i noticed is the tube from the pro blend seems a lil long so after i have it all screwed on, the pro blend is cocked a little to the side. I was contemplating cutting the pro blends tube to exact height, because i fear over time it will ruin the female pro blend cap due to it being under "stress" from it not being 100% on there right. Can i do this or is it made a little long for a reason? Other than that, i love my pro blend dispenser! Well worth it cause i hate measuring things out.

Wow. Never knew these things existed? I'm use to using a Dema mixer, but this seems neat.

I'm so sorry...

I just realized I forgot to mention that the suction tube can be cut to custom fit the bottle it's being used with. You can and should cut the suction tube to custom fit whichever product you're using.

It's made long for the sole purpose of being a universal part that can be cut to fit a wide spectrum of applications.

For the 32 ounce bottle of DP Rinseless Wash & Gloss and the matching Pro Blend Bottle Proportioner I had to cut approximately 1 3/4" off the suction tube for a customer fit and for the 1-gallon jug of DP Rinseless Wash & Gloss I cut about 3/4" of inch for a customer fit.

When you receive your Pro Blend Bottle Proportioner, simply stick the suction tube into the bottle of product you're going to use it with and then guesstimate where to make the cut and then safely use a scissors or utility knife to cut a small section of the tube off.

I'll edit my original thread and add the pictures I just posted above and a few more.

Just out of coincidence, we used and demonstrated the Pro Blend Bottle Proportioner in a new video we shot on Saturday.

Very cool. I can use about 10 of those.

Mike,

Does it work well with thicker products like Meg' Gold Class car wash or similar?

Thanks,
Mike
