i would suggest leaving the rear hatch carpet out for 24hrs to "air out" after cleaning this time.


when i worked at uhaul, we had a customer who rented a 10ft truck. he owned a fish market. you can imagine how bad it smelled. we'd charge him a 200$ cleaning fee, and he'd tip us 50$ ontop of that. we'd have to clean it, and let it air out for 24hrs before the smell was gone.
