    First time using Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay PLUS

    last week I order the Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay PLUS kit any tips for using it is it safe to use on my truck I read a post of a guy using clay end he said he Clayed his car and scratched it all up

    Claying causes marring. I ALWAYS follow claying with polishing to remove paint marring.

    Claying does not always cause marring, especially with a gentle clay like pinnacle. Most clay marring comes on really contaminated soft clears.

    I agree, never had any marring when used.

    No marring ever, as I use Blu Tack, which works better than any clay I've tested in the past.

    Is it safe? Yes, very safe if done properly... Will it scratch, only if you don't clay properly and fail to use a lubricant. When you are done claying, the paint should feel silky smooth and ready for your next step.
