    AIO or two-step process?

I have a 2014 Ford Explorer that we bought this past March. It is Tuxedo Black. My question is it has some light swirls and some minor defects ... what is the best process and products to use? I used the XMT for light swirls kit on my 2009 Honda CRV, which came out beautiful, especially for my second detail ever with a PC DA polisher, but it took me all day. If this is what I need to do, then so be it. But if there's an AIO I can use with my DA to cut down on time, that would be awesome. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

If your paint isn't all that bad I would do an AIO. Something like HD Speed followed with Poxy

Auto Finesse Tripple is great I use it all the time. It depends how bad the swirls marks are. Most AIO don't have a lot of cut.

Just typical car dealership "gifts" and I ran it through a car wash a couple of times (to get off nasty stuff from snow removal chems after snowstorm and no way to wash by hand).

Would M205 work followed by wax?

You should always do a test spot to she what works best and always go with least aggressive first.

Hard to say until you do a test spot. M205 is an amazingly versatile product though and would be my first product to test for a one-step polishing job.

You could use megs D151 which is an AIO that has quite a bit of cut. I've yet to use m205 but I hear good things. Personally I'd try Wolfgang total swirl remover. I love the stuff. My truck got the dealer installed swirl option and it removed about 85% of all the defects when paired with a lake county Orange flat pad.

I'd try Meguiar's D-151 first, a good all in one product.
