The Griot's Garage Boss correcting and perfecting creams are great, no fooling, but M205 is really something else. It works very, very well with different styles of Lake Country orange light cutting pads and is great for a quick "one-step" job that necessitates light correction (the customer doesn't need or want perfection).

With that said I only use M205 with the Flex 3401. The Flex gets used with all sorts of abrasives, but I stick to the Boss creams with my G15. I'm sure the G21 and G15 will work fine with M205 too.

Plus one for Griots and the g15 along with the boss system. Used them on both of these Corvettes and the owners were blown away.

Going forward as I try to simplify my detailing product shelves, I'll probably collapse everything down to the Blackfire polish/compound or possibly Menzerna. The Blackfire polishes are really easy to work with and yield amazing results. I'm pretty confident I could use them on just about any paint I come across.
I've always been a fan of Blackfire, sealant and waxes, But, I keep hearing so many good things about Menzerna and I can't wait to try it. On the other hand, I also, want to "simplify my detailing product shelves". I depend a lot on the advice I read on this forum to make those choices since I can't try everything.

I don't want to alter the OP's original question but will answer with "what do I use the MOST on a wide range of different paints when only doing a one stepper?". HD Speed or McKee's 360 AIO. That's not to say i use those exclusively. I use a wide range of products as my "favorite" for "this" job but find myself using those 2 AIO's the most.

I find now that unless the paint is bad enough that I'm using FG400 or a heavy compound along those lines, I always just use Essence with an Orange pad. It works great for me, and I use that combination as a compound. If I need to, I spritz with DI water to make it work longer but the combination of the semi-permanent fillers and the actual abrasives really make a great combination for me.
