    Flex 3401 vs XFE7-15?

Hi, looking to upgrade/add a new tool to my budding detail arsenal. For the money, which one is better for a novice detailer? I have a PC 7424 and a Flex PE8 for the smaller areas. The PC takes FOREVER to do a car, but is versatile and I still love it. I am experienced at forced rotation doing paint correction with the PE8 and want a forced rotation DA. I am partial to Flex products.

What is the difference between these two in real world use? The above will be my primary work horse. Thank you guys!

The 3401 will power through polishing better, without a doubt.

    IMO:
    You already answered your questions.

The FLEX XFE7-15 (although having a "long stroke")
is—just as the PC is advertised to be—a free-spinning dual action polisher.

IMO The Flex 3401 hands down. I have used my PC7424XP for quite a while. After using the Flex 3401 I have made the PC my mini polisher and sealant and wax applicator.

This is the way I detail cars now. My assumption you will do the same.

I have the Flex XFE7-15-150 and I must say that
It is a awesome machine. No vibrations and it
runs very smooth. Have the 6.5 inch LC thin pads
and they do a nice job with the polisher.I would
buy this polisher again with no questions asked.
Also it runs very quiet and when using the red pad
for laying down a paint sealant you can use one hand.
