backing plate for the flex pe-14

Is there anyway to get the black flex backing plate ?

This plate is on the front page of auto geek. It says flex on it .

I've asked the same question and have done alittle bit of research on it. This backing plate is only offered in the UK. I sent Flex an email to see if I could pay extra for it but they never responded. Not even sure if it fits the same thread as the US version of the Flex.

That backing plate has an M14 thread. It wouldn't work on your 5/8" threaded buffer. You can order that backing plate directly from the Flex website in Europe. I spoke with one of their representatives and was told they don't make a 5/8" version. I bet shipping would completely kill the deal too.

Kaban speaks the truth...this guy is up on ALOT of detailing products and has done his research. I've come across some of Kaban's posts from other detailing sites-mainly the ones across the pond.
