Yeah they rereleased it
That was most likely the reason the XCE never seen daylight till yesterday
It also comes with a 5in backing plate now
I remember demoing both of these back in March...

Yes! There is a new 5" backing plate option for the XFE7

Yeah, Renny already had a video of them using it with a 5in and a new wool pad..and a euro MF pad by LC I believe
