Need honest opinions on a couple of DP products.

My stash of interior products is running low, so I need some opinions on a couple of DP interior products.

First, the DP Total Interior Cleaner. If I get this product, I plan on using it mainly for carpet cleaning, and an occasional cleaning of the interior after several applications of protectant, and as a light cleaner on leather.

So, how well does it work?
Is it streaky?
How is the smell?
How does it clean leather? Does it leave the surface slippery?

Second, the DP Interior Surface Protectant. Obviously, I will use the product for appearance, protection and light cleaning.

Again, how well does it work?
What is the appearance... is it glossy, matte finish, or somewhere in-between?
Is it streaky?
Again, how is the smell?

I now only detail 4 vehicles, and they don't get very dirty, so I don't need "super-intense" cleaning products. I looking for good, mild products at a reasonable price.

If you have compared the DP products with some other products, which do you prefer?

Thanks in advance.

I'm using DP interior cleaner after running out of the pinnacle cleaner. I don't like it much mainly due to the odor. The smell is a sickening, powerful minty one. I actually can't work with it in an enclosed area for too long as the scent becomes too strong.

Cleaning power is average. I really prefer the pinnacle interior cleaner or a dilution of 303 to the DP.

Maybe Sevenrd has an older product or perhaps he is thinking of the DP Carpet cleaner. Because, the DP Total Interior Cleaner is very good. It smells like bananas. It does a great job on cleaning the interior plastic/ vinyl areas. I highly recommend it.

I've not used the DP Interior Surface Protectant so I can't comment, except to say DP products usually don't let me down. My favorite interior protectant is Poorboy's World Natural Look.

Ive used DP protectant. It smells real good, like bananas. So far every time I have used It, it has left a shinny, not matte. I like a little shine though and this is a product I like. It doesnt streak too much.

I can't comment on the Interior Cleaner because I have not used it. I should get some.
I do use the DP Interior Protectant all the time. I use it on my customers cars and my own trucks. It has a banana scent and like JOD said it leaves a slight sheen, not shiny. It's not oily like some that I've used. If I remember right NXT was oily but I'm not positive. 303 does a good job but I prefer DP.

Ya, DP doesnt leave a shinny or greasy feeling like armor all or megs. But it does have shine, especially on black.

Thanks Joe. I missed the review on the cleaner. I must have been blind!

Thanks also to everybody else. Sounds like I will be adding these two products to my "ever-growing" list.

It's definitely the total interior cleaner I'm talking about. I purchased it about 2 months ago.

I wonder why mine doesn't smell like bananas. Like I mentioned it's more of an acrid mint smell that's very hard on the nose while working with it. Maybe it's a bad batch or a different chemical was inadvertently put in the bottle.
