DP Plex-All

I saw this under what's new and was curious in how it compares to Plexus. If you think it is better explain why. I have been using Plexus in my Clear Bra business and I am always looking for the next best thing.

Its been offered that DP lasts longer, I will try side by side shortly. I did note on original use that Plexus is slicker initially and DP is foamy-ier.

I have not used anything other than DP, but DP's Plex-All really cleaned headlights very well!

I have always washed my clear bra and sealed it with Z2 & CS. Is there something that Plexus or DP Flex All can add over a regular wash?

I am not sure exactly what Z2 and CS is I'm guessing Ziano? The film distributor I use suggested using Plexus as it is designed for plastics and well, a clear bra is just that a urethane film. This guy has been installing and designing kits since clear bra began and is probably one of the top installers in the country so I trust his judgement. It was explained to me that using certain waxes that contain dyes or are real heavy on certain petroleum products could infact accelerate the yellowing process that can occur with the clear bra. For instance if you are using a yellow wax or a blue wax in color they contain dyes you want to use something white or clear in color. I have also been told that using a really good paint sealant is another alternative. I don't know how much truth there is to all this but I have had excellent results with Plexus it is quick and very easy to use. This is the best thing for lazy customers you can do the clear bra in just minutes a couple times a month or more if you wish it is all you need.

Remember Plexus and Plex-All are a polish and protectant they do not just clean it seals the clear bra.

I am not sure exactly what Z2 and CS is I'm guessing Ziano? Yes.

It was explained to me that using certain waxes that contain dyes or are real heavy on certain petroleum products could infact accelerate the yellowing process that can occur with the clear bra. Since I am using Zaino products, I don't have to worry about waxes.

I have also been told that using a really good paint sealant is another alternative. I really like Zaino, particularly its durability.

Remember Plexus and Plex-All are a polish and protectant they do not just clean it seals the clear bra. That is good news and if the hype on the Plex-All is true, I look forward to using it on my clear bra.

Thanks for your help, Brian.

What should you do to the paint prior to getting the clear bra installed? Would it be bad to polish/ wax or seal the paint prior to getting one of those bras installed? Im asking because Ive got a customer who wants me to detail his car BEFORE he gets one of those bras installed. But I wasnt sure if the wax/ sealant would screw things up with installing the bra.

I sealed mine the day before the bra was installed and have had no problem. Wax is another question which I cannot comment on--but I would be hesitant to wax it.

I can vouch for DP Plex-All. I use it to clean instrument clusters and radio readouts in vehicles. It works wonders and leaves a pleasant smell. Foams really well too !!! A must have IMO
