DP Engine Degreaser

DP Engine Degreaser
I have never used any type of engine degreaser before and I couldn’t wait to use this product. In the past I simply wiped down any of the hoses and bigger covers under the hood but never really took on the entire engine. My test subject was a ’01 Jeep Wrangler with 73,000 ticks on it.

Needless to say this engine has not been cleaned in a long while and it just went through a Chicago winter.

The DP Engine Degreaser is so easy to use and the results are outstanding. I simply followed the directions.

This is what I did:
  • Hosed down the engine compartment with water.
  • Sprayed the DP Engine Degreaser on all parts of the engine and hoses.
  • Waited a 2 minutes and brushed the entire engine.
  • Rinsed the engine down with water.
  • Touched up the hoses and larger covers with 303.
  • Smiled ear to ear!
Here are the after pictures, you can see why I was smiling!

If you’re looking to add that special touch to your details you may want to consider giving DP Engine Degreaser a shot. Going from a dirty engine to a clean engine may be on of the most dramatic and impressive steps you can may when detailing a vehicle.

The more I use the DP line the more I am awed by it. I'm so happy I ordered the 128oz size of this product because I know there will be a lot more clean engines around here from now on.

Looks great, but I'm still scared to hose down my engine. My luck something would go wrong. Anyhow it looks great.

I used a shorter Meguiars brush. I need to get a longer brush, the front of my sweatshirt got a little dirty from leaning into the engine bay.

Special values!
If you are in the market for a Meguiars brush , check out our special values page. We have a couple of Meguiars products at crazy low prices!
There is a couple of brushes and a few other products, including the Gold Class Paste Wax. (Just thought I would jump a sale in this thread)
