Reviewed: DP's Final Gloss Quick Detailer

Review:
DP's Final Gloss
Quick Detailer

(click picture for product information)

I've actually been using this product for about 3 weeks now. It is simply one of the best Quick Detailers I've ever used. This one does it all. It cleans, lubricates, and protects the paint. I have used it mainly after washes. I spray it onto the wet surfaces of the vehicle and dry it with my Guzzler. I wish I could explain just how slick the surface feels.....and this is on a not-waxed-by-me vehicle.

I used it on my wife's vehicle yesterday. It has only had one coat of NXT Tech Wax and that was over 4 months ago. No other QD's or waxes. It has been washed it NXT Tech Wash weekly. This is a rumored "tough" car wash and NXT is a "rumored" weak wax. I pressured washed the vehicle off. It wasn't that dirty so I just sprayed it down with Final Gloss. No washing at all. I then dried it. My guzzler was barely dirty. I was actually trying to see just how well it lubricated against scratching.

Well, here's the pics to show off this wonderful new product!

It rained this evening here in Blue Ridge. A good time to show off some beading shots. Also, the pollen has been bad here. I noticed none of it on the car after about a 15 minute rain. I'm actually believing it has some anti-static properties. It keeps getting better!

And now the hood.....
(Still showing the depth even with it cloudy outside.)

And now the flash shot. No marring! I haven't polished in four months either.

I swear, you have Midas touch lol, how the heck do you get that durability out of NXT and all of us get maybe a month or two at the most lol?? The few times I used it after a month or so the beading had stopped and I had blobs like there was no protection on the paint?? Haven't used it since.

Nice review.

I always do 2, thin even coats. That's all I do. I admit the "feel" goes away but that's not an indicator to me that the durability has left the building.

NXT has more of a sheeting effect than a beading effect anyways.

Nice review.

3-4 months easy here... I love it almost as much as #16. Not quite though.

No problem.

I just want others to know about the new stuff so they don't feel like the guinea pigs!
