DP Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner - FOAM !

Hey folks .. tried some DP Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner over the weekend .. I was somewhat un-impressed. I sprayed a little solution on my floor mats and scrubbed with a brush and I had foam everywhere (we won't even get into what happened when I had a problem area and used the PC7424 and a bursh) !

I used a couple of gallons of clean water (with an exptractor) to get the solution and foam out of the carpet. I know the instructions say to just vacuum, but I know its never a good idea to leave any chemicals or detergents behind (that just attracts more dirt).

Thoughts on other options ??

I found that it cleans really well. I did see some foam but yours and my amount descriptions could be different. I have heard that it is good to get the residue out of the fibers or the detergents will attract more dirt. I may start carrying a bottle of water with me to help rinse the spots I am cleaning and vacuum it.

I have never had a lot of foaming from my DP cleaner... so I don't know what to say. Sorry hopefully someone else can chime in.
