Sometimes we equate suds with cleaning. If you look at all the waterless cleaners on the market none of them will produce any sudsing but most will do a real good job in regards to cleaning up.Example: QEW, No rinse & shine, PBs S&W. I would send Jason a PM, theres nothing AG would't make right thats why they are highly praised for their CS. Good Luck

I have noticed a difference in suds between using cold water out of the hose and warm water from the kitchen sink. I was not using the DP shampoo

While DP's wash is not my fav (Pinnacle and Wolfgang, as well as Poorboys will spoil you), I never found it to be bad. Cleaned well and had some nice foam.

If he was to have hard water or maybe something in the water chemically different then others who have softer water would this effect the suds a shampoo would produce..

Yes it would, also cross contamination from other products. A fine example of cross contamination is using the same bucket to wash the paint and them using it to clean your rims and tires. Tire dressing residue left in the bucket will diminish the performance of the car wash.

What would be the best way to decontaminate your buckets?

Buy a new Autogeek bucket

That said, washing out a bucket, and wiping out to dry helps alot. Allowing a bucket to sit upright and the loose water (and potentially soap) to dry to the bottom of the bucket is how decontamination usually shows up. I also believe that allowing it to dry upside down will help to remove most of the leftover water (and potentially soap) if a towel is not present to dry the bucket.
