DP Interior Protectant as a Tire Dressing?

Afternoon All,

I've read that the DP Interior Protectant works on dashes and rubber. Has anyone tried it on tires? Would it have a simialar finish/protection as 303 protectant?

Any input appreciated.

Best,
Harold

I wouldnt use it on the tires just because it is not formulated to withstand such rigorous conditions. Look at armor all extreme gel for a cheep / VERY effective tire protectant.

AA is good for tires and is found locally. I would also suggest Meguiar's High Endurance or Pinnacle's Black Onyx. Both offer a nice wet look, and you can intensify with more coats.

Thanks...it's funny you mention AA Extreme Gel...that's what i'm using now. I really like it but was just wondering if I could get another use out of my DP products.

I agree...great appearance, last a long time and doesn't sling if you put it on correctly.

Best,
Harold

:iagree: DP interior protectant leaves a very matte finish and would make the tires look "undressed" I think. I'd go with a dedicated tire product.

You could also find 303 protectant at your local Riebes/Napa stores.
