| | | DP Premium Surface Paint Shield I guess thi is the old formula. How long is it lasting for you with no topper? I saw the 128 oz. for dirt cheap and thought it would be a great bulk detailing supply, but not if it only lasts 2 months. |

If they want a sealant and that duration of protection, they need to pay for it. Here's what I've been doing.
2006 H2
First week......
Full detail = 250.00
Second week.....
Wash/Vac = 60.00
Fourth week......
Wash/Vac = 60.00
Sixth week......
Wash/Vac/Wax = 100.00
So in the first 6 weeks, this vehicle makes me 470.00 and 220.00 every 6 weeks after.
If they want a sealant, I sell the first detail for 350.00.....100.00 extra to make up for the non-waxing profit. I'll re-seal it every 3 months. Remember, it's different when you're doing it to make money. |

| | | I'm not trying to go all out and run a business here. Just some extra cash. I plan on charging $125, $150, and $175 for a full detail. That's starting prices and that's according to size of car. That's with a choice of sealant or carnauba (which I'll charge $5 more for) and if they want a carnauba topper over the sealant it'll be an extra $20, $25, and $30 depending on size of car. So the most that will be is $145, $175, and $205 with a carnauba topping.
Also, that is if they come to me and drop the car to have it detailed. If I come to them it's an extra $25 for the full pacakage. |

| | | I personally think DP is an awesome sealant, and $50 for a gallon is a bargain.

DP's sealant would have a little more gloss and durability than the poli-seal? Any speculations on that? |
