Maintianing a Sealant Slick Feeling

I had not used my DP Premium Surface Shield in a while. A few weeks ago I did a detail on the wife's Quest using Chem Dudes Citrus Wash to strip the surface. I followed up with DP Premium Surface Shield. I let it bond overnight and the next day the Quest had such a nice slick feeling to it.

One week later the car still felt slick. I did a quick wash with DP Extreme Foam and the foam Gun and followed up with another coat of the DP sealant.

Now, about 3 weeks later with a weekly wash the slick feel is gone. Is there something I can use to boost that slick feel until a new coat of sealant is applied?

Re: Maintianing a Sealant Slick Feeling

I just tried to find DP Spray Sealant because I thought that would be perfect to amp up the DP PSS. Looks like no more of it either.
IMO Duragloss Aquawax (a spray sealant) would be a perfect substitute. Many use it like a QD. You can spray it on a wet car while drying it off.

I got some Aquawax and I was not that impressed with it. It seemed to leave a dull surface compared to a shiny one from the DPPSS.

I thought there was a DP spray sealant but I don't see it now. I do have the WG Spray Sealant and I see that it is on sale on the BOGO Free page. I'm thinking of grabbing that deal!

FK 425 Quick detailer, Meguiars Ultimate quick detailer or another quick detailer to your liking, weekly wash with a good wash, I like ONR as it is easy leaves a nice fisnish. Every week or other week or as you choose you a spray wax my 2 favorite are Optimum Spray Wax and Prima Hydro.

Try the new Four Star Spray Wax .... the Four Star Sealant is also slick from the start.

That makes 2 of us , I would opt for the WG since you already have it. 10-15 minutes and your done.
